Repairs and leather goods

What we fix.

From a pair of RMs that need new elastic to a sole worn right through, and the bags and leather goods in between.

  1. Resoles

New leather or rubber soles for boots and shoes that still have plenty of life up top.

A clean leather sole for dress boots, or a chunky lug sole for work and weather. Bring the pair in and talk through what suits them.

"Valentinos did a great job with my RMs. New soles and heals, replaced elastics. They look like brand new."

  2. Heels

Worn heels replaced and rebuilt, and heel height reduced when a pair is uncomfortable.

The bench carries heel rubber in a range of colours, not just black.

"I had the heels on my boots repaired a year ago. They are the best repair I’ve ever had - still going strong despite lots of wear!"

  3. Stitching

Soles re-stitched and shoes that are coming apart put back together.

When the stitching round a sole lets go, it can be stitched again rather than the shoes thrown out.

"He fixed my shoes that were coming apart & I was able to wear them straight away."

  4. RM Williams and Chelsea boots

New elastic sides, inner soles, soles and heels, and a tidy up.

RM Williams come up again and again in the reviews: new elastic, inner soles, soles and heels.

"I took my RM Williams boots into the shop for new elastic, inner sole and a bit of a tidy up. Valentinos did a great job and had them ready in 2x days."

  5. Bags and leather repairs

Handbags and leather goods mended: corners, linings and the wear that comes with years of use.

From an everyday leather bag to a designer canvas one with worn corners.

  6. Handmade leather goods

    Bespoke leather accessories.

Handmade leather goods sit right on the sign, next to quality repairs. Ask Valentinos what he makes.

  7. Shoe care to take home

Waterproofing sprays, creams and polishes to keep the work looking after itself.

The cabinet in the shop carries Collonil care products.
